how to get students attention

My idea to get students attention is to show the students what is going to happen? We could change our ways to let people know whats going is by going to the class and handout the news to the students. Is making the announcements sound fun and that the meeting is going to fun to. Putting fliers in the restrooms because you pay attention to them. Another way to make it better for people to read it is sending out forwards trough text messaging. We could send emails to students but it would be a problem for people that don't have a computer and don't have a computer class. They have to give the announcements earlier than one day before than the last minute. Natalie's idea was pretty good about the newsletter because it lets you know whats going to happen in the couple of few days and weeks. The sports they need to show more school pride and support our team even though we are no that good. They got to let know what the fundraiser are for and why we have to raise money. I think the coach should text the players and tell them when practice is and what time.

i was in the side that smoking doesnt matter to get hired

I wa the side of smoking is k that you should get hired even though you smoke. The reason why i think that is because it dont matter if you smke what if you smoke and do your job rite. I think we won this argument because we got come back on the ones that didnt wanted to hired somebody that smoked.

1. They have this policy that I can't smoke cigarettes on a 15 minute break, or i can't smoke in my car.

2. When you get hired on you have to be 18 or older. So it isn't like we are a bunch of under aged individuals. 


3. They just fired one of my employees for smoking a cigarette on a break.

If you go apply in a job and your a smoker i think the manager could decide to hire you or not. In the reason of being obese or not the manager shouldn't criticize you or the person that is over weight. I think that the manager should go more for how they act and how they respond to their questions in the interview not if they smoke or are over weight. The manger are always going to take in mind if there smokers or not that always happens to everybody in a job.

issues we faced

the problems we had in the searching on line of the business were that the business that we choose they wouldn't tell you online if they were hiring or not. They didn't tell you neither if you have to apply at online. It was hard to find information like that about the store number you got because theres more stores around the united states.

what can we learn

I learned somethings from the article that we read last time in class from the job fair. I learned that a lot of people were looking for a job that would hired people. I learned that we have to bring jobs that are going to hired people and give them a chance. People we upset that people because they didnt hired at the spot. I think that jobs cant hired at the spot because they have to enterview people and know their personality.

job expo

The article we read as a class today was about how many people attended the job expo on wednesday at the civic center in down town. It said that more than 10,000 people attended the job fair and what jobs they were offering at the job fair. It said what people said about the expo they said that it was good that more people attended this year and more stores and companies are hiring this year. Last year less people were hired because of the stock market was bad. Now more jobs are offering jobs and are taking more people in.

I think I'm going to gain better listening skills in my new spot because i don't have any friends to talk to and I'm going to be able to do my work. I wont argue with mrs goeldner that much anymore.

I wont be that loud because I'm not sitting next to david lee. I would talk a lot with david when i was sitting next to him.

work Ethic

im going to start with my weaknesses. The first one is that my patiences are weak i get fustrated really quick when i cant do something. That i like to argue when they blame me for something that is dumb to do. The last one is that i like to talk a lot and i don't pay attention sometimes.

The good thing is that i could get my work done quick and good. I understand things really quick and get my job done in time and when it has to be done. I think if i would listen to my teacher more i would be more successful in this class. If i wouldn't argue with her neither it would be good.
